Graphic is only available on Mac, while AD is both Mac and Windows. This way, when you become frustrated trying to use the iPad for real productivity, you can switch to a normal computer without losing any work.Also, Graphic has been updated and improved for years (formerly called iDraw, then name changed when purchased by Autodesk. It was the first decent vector app for iPad. Affinity Designer has been on iPad for about two months, which is likely why it has such frequent updates.IMO, Graphic is easier to use. Affinity designer is more powerful for pro users, and has better compatibility with Adobe files.
The better Adobe comparability is the best reason for a non-graphic-designer to use AD.
