Since this is my very first time playing the game I actually have so much expectation for it. My very first game that I’ve ever played seriously was Diablo 2 so I’m really hoping Diablo 3 can live upto its previous version. No, either play it online or don't bother. What they might mean is 'botters,' but you always have that in these types of games.There was some sort of elaborate item duplication hack back in the day, but as far as I know they fixed that. Diablo 2 is one of the few games of this type where all of your character data is stored online, thus making it impossible for people to alter the files unless they find some sort of weird loophole in the server.Oh, I forgot, there is also a hack to see the map before you've explored an area. Those people kind of annoy me, but it isn't THAT big of a deal really. I've played plenty of multiplayer (and, like all games, it's much better with friends) but the singleplayer game is great too.Just make sure you read about /players, and get ATMA so you can transfer items between characters and create mules for your gems, or store those precious rare items your cIass isn't interested in.I don't consider either of the above cheating, personally. Not after playing a character for a hundred hours only to find that the item he desperately wants drops for another of my characters and I have to leave it to rot.Anyway, yeah - it's an awesome singleplayer experience.

Daytona178Thats not true, i started a new char 5 days ago and im already lvl 48 in nightmare(by 5 days i mean around 4 hours every day).Its still worth playing SP mode, i played sp only til recently. The main problem with SP is that its reaaaaaaaally hard to ge tthe good items, to find the really good stuff u need to join a party with 7 other lvl 99 and u obviously cant do that on SP, give it a try i have 5 characters and i have a lot of fun playing on my own. I've invested so much time into this game its not even funny. I just stopped playing it a year ago. I probably put in a good 5000 hours into that game, all said and done.
