Yea, as some have said Heroes of Dragon Age app have pretty good models of what they looked like.If you played the Legacy DLC in DA2 it shows the difference the Genlocks have. Compared to theShrieks have also changed, there are some cut Shriek content from DA2 and its shown in Heroes of Dragon Age. When I really like it, look alot more elvish.Hurlocks are pretty much the same.
However I am pretty sure they will be using DA2 models for Darkspawn. They look better in concept.As much as I like Dragon Age II, the art style is way too clean, and origins did a much better job with that, the Darkspawn look great there. Awakening is of course my favorite. Especially the Disciples.
So have you seen this concept art of Zevran.(picture below)?is there anyone but me that thinks he looks a lot more HOTTER in this art than what he looks like in the game!?I mean the hair, tattoos, outfit.! If any of you great hair/face/tattoo/outfit/character modders out there could do something to make Zevran look like this.! Honestly I don't know what I'd do, but I would certainly worship you. And I don't see why I should be 'better off playing WoW' just because I liked this art of Zevran. It doesn't make sense and just seemed like an totally unnecessary comment, but.whatever floats your boat.I know where poster take this 'play WoW' comment. Right now, in my WoW model viewer I can create almost exactly copy of this concept from their Blood Elf model. And since all lovers of 'dark fantasy' and 'low fantasy' despise WoW cartoony.bad word.
style and colors he made this comment.I am also DO not agree that this concept were abandoned due to the style change. In games dialogs we have traces of this style be true one. In Alister and Liliana dialog tempalar said that 'all about Zev is too much his HAIR and his CLOTHES' and this non existent hairstyle have been mentioned in another Zev and Alister dialogue. Liliana and Shale commented on his tattoos often. I have always found this pretty strange since there in nothing 'too much' in his in game self. VO were recorded before art style drastic change?
I do not think so. It just lack of time and marketing- only Morrigan get here concept as 'unkillable sex symbol', Duncan as Devid mascot and Ogren got hairstyle as designers collective mascot.I am for one love this concept, because it have style and soul. What I would not give for it to become true in game. But there is too many modeling work involved and he is male.EDIT: I have forgot to mention something. Every time you load DAO you an see his unfulfilled concept designs ones fulfilled. This art in not old. It were drawn as promo six months before resale of DAO.beside this image I have 3 or 4 original concept arts of him and he look the same.
Just jewelry, arms tattoos and cloak were removed during the art change- hairstyle and strange feathery boa thing were meant to be implemented in game.
