Tracking for package showed 'Delivered to parcel locker' on 8 Dec 16. I live in a community that has a central mailbox (cluster) system and decided to go to the post office when I checked my mailbox and there was no key to check any of the 4 lockers in our street cluster system.

I asked about my package and what parcel delivery locker was and they told my exactly what I stated above. I gave them a copy of the tracking message/number and they said they would research it (10:30am). Well, just had a USPS person from our local office show up at my house (5:30pm). We lose mail every week at Leander TX USPS. This week confirmed delivery by text message USPS that delivery was in parcel box but no key given. Every week neighbors get together to exchange all the mis-delivered mail. Frustrating because some of us get pay checks, others get baby formula. Adding 2-10 days for proper delivery at our make-shift neighborhood exchanges is unacceptable.

I have a GOPOST account, and I have used the GOPOST shipping address with my account number and the Merrifield, VA GOPOST location to receive dozens of packages successfully.When one of the packages I had ordered was left in a GOPOST locker I received a message by email on my smartphone that a package was available. I then went to the GOPOST locker facility on the sidewalk outside the post office, scanned my account number with my ID card, entered my password, and retrieved the package from the indicated locker box that was unlocked electronically without any physical key required.The tracking information usually said 'notice left' when a package sent to the GOPOST shipping address was available for pickup. The tracking information for my dozens of GOPOST packages never said 'package left in locker'.

The GOPOST shipping address I used was 1602 GOPOST,#(my account number), Merrifield, VA 22116.Unfortunately, I observed that two other GOPOST locations had technical problems that prevented me from logging in. I think that the systems had overheated in the summer sun. How do I find out where that is? I've looked up and down my street for a parcel locker but have not found any. I've tried calling our local PO but their number is always busy. I've tried calling the automated 1-800-222-1811 number, but they weren't able to help me without a 20-30 minute wait for a representative, who may or may not be able to help me. Had a package delivered today that I was waiting for which I needed for a 40th birthday party that was today. Package was delivered but for some reason the lock box key didn't work again, so I couldn't retrieve my package.

This is the 4th time in the last 2 years that I've had the same issues with the same lock box!!! I'm so irritated and over it.

Instead, there a centralized mail system along with these so called 'Parcel Lockers'.When purchasing the house, personally I was somewhat shocked that such a system was put into place as if everyone was living in an apartment complex of sorts. Sender tells me they couldn't deliver it. The rest of my mail was in my mailbox, but no note, and there was no signature required anyway.

It said 'held in a parcel locker'at USPS office in 32223. There is no 'post office' in 32223, only a little USPS place inside of a natural foods store. I guess that's it??? Never picked up any package other than at the 'real' Post Office in 32257. Of course, I can't find out anything from anyone because all I get are automated answers to my calls. Just have a question, I sent a few big packages to an address in Riverside CA, According to the tracking numbers, packages were delivered in a parcel locker, my aunt never received a package, as I was reading, the packages are in a parcel locker, my aunt will never be able to go and pick them, what can I do? Will I lose the packages?

Checked eBay and status showed DELIVERED TO PARCEL LOCKER two days ago! Firstly, what the heck is a parcel locker? Secondly, that notice is completely useless since they provided no other instructions or phone number - neither eBay nor USPS. No key or notice was in my mailbox. If I didn't go and check status on eBay I would be waiting forever, presumably.So now I have to figure out which of the hundred or so post offices in Clark County to go check. I dread going to those places because after the 10 minute drive I get to stand in line for 20 minutes to ask a question. Which one should I try first?
